DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL STRATEGY
Jason Brower graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2009 with a business degree. After completing internships with the Grand Rapids Griffins and West Michigan Whitecaps, he started his career in the advertising department of the Whitecaps. Over time, he gained more social media responsibilities and shaped his role into the first full-time social media coordinator position for the Whitecaps in 2014. During his time running the Whitecaps’ social media, he was able to grow it into the most followed brand in the Midwest League and among the top 20 in all minor league baseball.
Jason brought that social media expertise to LaFleur Marketing in 2018 when he started as the social media specialist. He uses his broad knowledge of social media platforms and techniques to help LaFleur’s clients grow their presence on social media and reach their marketing objectives. He has the ability to take written content and turn it into consumable — and even viral — social posts with the use of video, images, and paid campaigns.
His passion for social media continues to grow, and he enjoys being creative and trying new tactics to reach the right audience. Jason also enjoys the continued challenge of staying up to date on the newest social platforms and trends.
While not tweeting, creating GIFs, or researching the next new platform, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, exploring parks and trails around Grand Rapids, trying out new restaurants, and following his favorite sports teams.
