Early in her career, Dale had the opportunity to work in communications for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) on a team that designed a communications and advocacy strategy for tobacco control. She also worked on the team that developed the Last Acts Campaign, a program for improving end-of-life care.
These experiences launched the next phase of her career: founding a marketing and design company and retaining RWJF as a client. Since then, she has worked in diverse industries such as finance, technology, education, and even wine. In fact, she traveled to the world’s major wine-producing areas and earned her Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
Before joining LaFleur, Dale was a Senior Program Manager in Product Development where she led a team responsible for implementing plan changes to thousands of product offerings at Blue Shield of California to ensure the compliance with all federal and state legislation as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield Association regulations.
She is also the co-author and co-designer of Sacred Spaces: Princeton Parties, Gatherings, and Celebrations, a book about entertaining (2004).
Dale earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from East Carolina University. She’s been actively involved in her alumni community ever since and received the Alumni Distinguished Service Award in 2009. She also later studied Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
She is a native of New Jersey, although she spent her formative years along the coast of Wilmington, North Carolina, where she currently resides near her family. Dale enjoys spending time with her two adult children, appreciating art and music, collecting wine, traveling, hiking, golfing, and paddle boarding.
