Emily Brown is from a small town outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. She attended East Carolina University, graduating in 2005 with a major in communications and a concentration in public relations. In 2005, she began her career in customer service, account management, business development, and sales. Throughout her career, Emily has been able to build successful teams by mentoring her peers and adapting her training style to team members’ unique strengths. With her positive attitude she excels at working across departments, collaborating, and overcoming challenges.
Early in her career, she learned that the customer is an integral part of any successful company. Emily loves working with, learning from, and celebrating successes with her clients. Her ability to quickly build rapport and show genuine interest in clients’ businesses has helped her excel within the digital marketing space. She is constantly striving to become a consultant and adviser for her clients. Her thirst for knowledge is unquenchable, and she knows that her clients are among the best teachers.
Emily’s hobbies include reading the classics as well as mysteries and thrillers, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and friends. She had her first child in 2015, and he will definitely be the class clown; he’s always happy, laughing, and on the go. Emily is married to Scott, whom she met in high school. They enjoy living out in the country where deer frequent their front yard and where they can camp in their backyard.
