Building a more inclusive, diverse workplace and community.

Diverse voices make us better digital marketers.

Diversity fuels creativity, plain and simple. If you work with a team that shares the same perspectives, experiences, and cultural touchpoints, you’re going to miss a lot of brilliant ideas.

However, to create truly inclusive marketing campaigns, which reflect the communities around us and speak directly to them, you need to foster welcoming, inclusive spaces.

For these reasons and many more, LaFleur takes a conscientious approach to diversity and inclusion.

diverse teams outperform non-diverse teams by 35% according to a report published by McKinsey & Company.

This report was created using data from 366 public companies across Latin America, the United States, Canada, and the UK.

People approaching problems from unique backgrounds will find novel solutions.

Inclusive Values

Our core values embrace diversity and foster inclusion.

LaFleur’s core values include investing in what matters, valuing relationships, and acting in good faith. Our diversity and inclusion goals align closely with these tenets.

Creating a welcoming environment for all

Whether we are hosting a meeting with one of our biggest clients or accepting a delivery order, we want to ensure that our team and the space we’re in is welcoming. We’ve built policies, procedures, and a culture that promote a warm, affirming environment for anyone who interacts with us.

Listening to everyone’s voices

To reap the benefits of diverse perspectives, LaFleur’s employees must feel empowered to share their thoughts and ideas. We’ve created platforms and forums that encourage often-marginalized voices to share their perspectives and insight. Whether you’re our newest hire or a senior leader, we recognize our teams’ talent and value.

Ensuring equal opportunities

LaFleur strives to go beyond the letter of the law. We prioritize equal opportunities for anyone coming into our organization and for those within it. We want transparency for our hiring strategies, succession planning, pay structure, and more. Notably, our leadership team includes voices from a variety of backgrounds, identities, and life experiences.

Being a voice for diversity and inclusion in our community

We don’t just want to promote diversity and inclusion within our office. We want to serve as a model for other organizations, encourage them to undertake similar initiatives, and provide guidance and resources for them to make it as easy as possible to build a better office and community.

LaFleur’s approach to diversity and inclusion

Our Approach

It’s easy to talk about diversity and inclusion. It’s a lot harder to live it. While we recognize that we’re all on a journey that involves perpetual listening and learning, we know that this journey must also include action.

LaFleur actively works to build a more equitable and welcoming work environment. Here are some (but not all) of the ways we embrace diversity.

Community engagement

Our team volunteers monthly with community non-profit organizations, including those that advance social justice and diversity and inclusion. By participating in community events, we can contribute, meet new candidates for our team, and encourage other organizations to get involved.

Reinventing work

We believe work can be better: better for clients, better for our business, better for employees, and better for the community. We’re challenging ourselves and other businesses to rethink their policies to encourage diversity and inclusion, work-life balance, and community involvement.
